Omega Esports returned to the winner’s circle in the MPL Philippines Season 10 on Sunday, defeating TNC 2-1 at the ICITE Auditorium.
With 17 points each, the SMART-backed team (6-5) tied RSG PH (6-4) for fourth place.
With eight points, TNC fell to 1-10. The team still has a chance to make the playoffs, but it must win all of its remaining matches and hope that Bren Esports and Nexplay EVOS lose theirs.
After losing the first game, Omega Esports quickly rebounded in Game Two, with Deomark “Mikko” Tabangay (Ruby) catching Mark “Kramm” Rusiana’s Esmeralda during the first siege, giving Omega Esports a five-on-four advantage.

Kramm respawned just in time to assist his team’s defense, but it wasn’t enough as Kielvj “Kielvj” Hernandez (Yve) used Real World Manipulation to keep TNC at bay.
In Game Two, Duane “Kelra” Pillas (Clint) had three kills and three assists with no deaths, while Mikko had seven assists with one death.
Despite losing Dean “Raizen” Sumagui (Balmond) during the Lord fight in the 21st minute, Omega Esports emerged victorious after Kielvj (Lylia) secured the objective.
Kelra (Claude) then used the Blazing Duet on Robee “Yasuwo” Pormocille’s Beatrix, while Mikko (Ruby) and Renz “Renzio” Cadua (Uranus) finished the job. Omega Esports then won by defeating Daniel “SDzyz” Chu (Thamuz), Ben “Benthings” Maglaque (Grock), and Kramm (Esmeralda).
Kielvj led the way with four kills and two assists in the 23:19-second Game Three victory.
Omega Esports will face Nexplay EVOS on Friday at 7:30 p.m., while TNC will face ECHO on Saturday at the same time.
